What Acupuncture Can Treat

Acupuncture has proved to be more effective than placebo in several double blind randomised controlled trials. On this basis, The British Medical Association reports that acupuncture is effective for:-

·         back pain, dental pain, nausea and vomiting, migraine 

Many Western doctors are open to the possible benefits of acupuncture. A survey carried out in 1999 found that acupuncture was used, ahead of physiotherapy & drug delivery systems, in 86% of chronic pain services. TCM acupuncture practitioners also treat a wide range of other conditions, including
